I can't believe December is halfway over and Christmas is only ten days away! Our weather seems to be making up for the lost time in November. I know there is a scientific explanation of this, but where the heck is this " global warming" they keep talking about? I'm not used to the electric heat . I just had a nosebleed that went off and on for almost two hours. I'd just think "Okay it's all done and I can go to bed" then of course I blow my nose and whoosh! ( sorry if that's too much info) I am going to break down and put this yucky gel stuff in my nose tommorow, it helps " hydrate" my nose ( who knew noses could need hydrating and isn't hydrating a cool word?) I'm not complaining though, because I keep thinking that there are homeless people out there, who might not have a nice warm place to sleep and a cup of hot chocolate to warm their insides. And I'm thinking of people who have to wake up every hour or so to stuff wood into their wood heaters to keep the cold at bay and animals who have to sleep outside in this bitter cold.I'm thankful that I also have a warm hubby to snuggle up with ( I try very hard not to put my cold hands on his back) I lost half of a plant because I had it close to a window, poor thing is all lopsided now.
Where are the darned hot flashes when I need them?

Missing our furry friends
So today the last of our furry friends is gone. We took Purrdy to the shelter. She rode in my coat in the car and was so good and they said she was pretty and should be adopted quickly. I think they said that so I wouldn't cry, but ah well. I shed my tears tonight after James was in bed, he would have understood but he was feeling so sad himself, so I hung in there. I am missing Dylan and Katie so much and I even dreamed about our dear little dog Max . Someone suggested I should volunteer at the SPCA and I might do that once things have settled down some. We found out today that the market here HAS dropped so whether we sell the house or not is totally in God's hands. I just know there is the perfect person out there for it. Anyhoo I'm going to end this post before I depress you all , I'll perk myself up with some funny baby videos on Youtube and think of how good it will be to hug all of you at Christmas time!! And then to our comfy bed.

![]() You are an idea person. You're always thinking up something new. You're also quite persuasive. People are drawn to you and adopt your beliefs. You are energetic and ambitious. But most of all, you are charming. You are a natural leader, and you are ready to lead! |
