Projects

I love projects. Craft projects, decorating projects, rearranging projects, you name it. Unfortunately I'm a great starter but not so great at the finishing of said projects. I think I've mentioned before that I have the attention span of a gnat. Not that any of you noticed that right? ( did I hear a very unladylike snort?) So my project for the remainder of this winter, is for me to actually start and finish projects that I want to do. I've been busily organising my junk treasures and labelling where they are. Once we get the Great Emptying Of The House, I hope to do another sort, and refine the whole organising project. I have scads of wonderful craft supplies and scrapbooking supplies and sewing stuff. The fun thing about all this sorting is re-discovering all of these things treasures ( and also a few head scratches and mutterings of " why did I keep THIS?) The other cool thing is that some of my crap treasures are now considered vintage! So the tacky birdcages STAY - sorry girls. AND I might add some tackier birds and flowers in them. After spray painting them some wonderfully frou frou color, possibly with glitter. Shinies!!

Anyways I digress ( like I never do that either) Since I have a camera that occasionally remember how to use I am going to attempt to chronicle my projects. Yes I actually used the word chronicle. hehe If you're real lucky you'll get to see the picture of what I hope to create, the before picture and the finished project , which hopefully, will somewhat resemble the picture of what I hoped to create.

An added bonus, if I forgot which project I am supposed to be working, I can just check my blog and flit off again into creativity.

Okay I'm not really doing this lamp as a project, I just wanted to scare you a bit. buhahahahaha!

I have this afghan that I started off making granny squares to attach together to make an afghan, when I was 16 or 17.
Well I completely forgot about them and imagine my surprise and delight a few years ago, when my mom sent me a parcel with this project sewn together into an afghan. My mom had finished it! Now she doesn't remember doing it but it's now a treasure to me! Now THAT is a LONG time for a project to be finished! haha
