I swear , at least once a week, I get all weepy and think of all my "gals" and want to get everyone together to watch Sleepless In Seattle together. You ever notice that Meg Ryan is great at crying? I mean some girls, when they cry in a movie it kind of wrecks the scene, because they are lousy at it. I absolutely LOVE Patricia Arquette but in both the Medium and the movie Stigmata, she is a crappy crier. I think she makes up for it in other ways, but she'd be even better if she could whip up a genuine sob or two and get some REAL tears in those beautiful eyes. ( don't worry I'm not crushing on her haha)
We rented Surrogates and found the twists interesting. I think I might have preferred a little more of the story line, but hey , the action was pretty cool, including the bizarre car chase where that female surrogate went all Terminator, and then when Bruce Willis ran over all those " bodies" and they piled up, it kind of freaked me out , then made me laugh. Bizzaro, cuz they looked real and sounded real but yet you knew they were robots. Enjoyed it but watching it once was enough. Did you notice the dr ( who tried to kill off most of the planet) was the same guy who played the Dr in IRobot?
James bought Four Christmases , seeing as we love most Christmas movies, even when it's not Christmas. Not so great. I think they tried to imitate National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. I loved the two main characters and their dialogue but then they threw in all the family weirdness and we had a few laughs and mostly went " ew" or "okay, thats stupid!" The first baby in the movie ( Brad's niece) was so adorable and she really reminded me of Jaynie!
I'd give it an okay , but think you should wait till Christmas season to try it, and don't expect huge things ( or at least watch it when in a goofy mood)
James also bought The Bucket List. He's watched it four times in two days I think. Still darned good, even after repeated watchings. But I think I'd like to stop thinking about death now. Please. Time for a chick flick...hmm which one..Tash which one has the happiest ending?
Speaking of endings, does Law Abiding Citizen have a good ending? I may consider it, if it does. I remember watching one movie where Denzel Washington played a bad guy. I was so disturbed I wouldn't watch him in anything for years! LOL

Love Happens does, which is why i dont consider it a chicky flick lol. Bride Wars was decent...or Baby Mama..that was funny lol... Dunno if you've seen an of them and hated them lol..
i heard law abiding citizen was pretty good but i think its one of those movies where a child gets killed which means its not high on my "to watch" list. I loved bucket list and was kinda dissapointed with 4 christmas'. Guess our movie taste is still similar. I love love love the proposal, super funny, you'll laugh like crazy!!
OH YEAH! i forgot about the Proposal! Thanks Starla! lol I totally recommend watching it! it was good, Jer even liked it!
